Breaking the Ice: How to Make a Memorable First Impression Presented by Letitia Warunek
We’re getting right into it! We will use this time to demonstrate the importance of the first impression, and give you some tips and tricks on how to conduct yourself when meeting new people. The skill of social literacy is essential during recruitment, job interviews, networking, and so much more.
Educational Trust Silent Auction
Show your support for the LKS Educational Trust by shopping the annual Silent Auction! The published times will be when the auction room is open to see the items, but online bidding will be available any time from 12 PM on Thursday to 10 PM on Friday!

Join LKS Alumni, former GVPC, pharmacist/Senior Manager of Clinical and Behavior Design at CVS Health, integrative health practitioner, entrepreneur and gratitude & wellness coach, Dr Elicia DeParolesa, as she helps you find the passion in your career, your life, your Chapter, and your Fraternity to make the next year the most impactful.
As the Preventative Pharmacist, she has the prescription to empower your health, wealth, and happiness with tools to combat burnout and create a life filled with purpose and passion. Utilizing the teachings of creativity, gratitude, owning your thoughts, discipline, and helping create action steps, she will guide you on determining what your top goals are of the year and how to define the small steps needed to reach them. Following her keynote address, Ewe will have time to work on your personal and Fraternity goals, during a high energy workshop.

Blue and Gold Dinner/Dinner Cruise
Set sail with us for our annual Blue and Gold Dinner! Wear your best LKS spirit-wear for a night of food, music, and fun aboard the Spirit of Norfolk! We will begin boarding at 6:30 to depart at 7:00 PM. Be on time, as once we depart the dock, we will not be returning until the conclusion of the event.

Today's leaders are facing new leadership challenges. What worked in the past does not guarantee success in the future because our world has changed. This program will focus on how we can adapt, motivate, lead and find new ways to allow teams to contribute in different ways and get the work done. When the work we do is aligned with our gifts, we perform to our potential.
Leadership Panel: Building a foundation to enrich your pharmacy practice. Hear from pharmacy leaders who will share details about their diverse cultural backgrounds and how to use that knowledge to be a better pharmacist.

Learning Objectives: 1) Review the evolution of hazardous drug handling standards 2) Identify sources of HD handling information 3) Review facility requirements for compounding HDs 4) List items to include in training and evaluation of personnel competency
