How Can You Get Involved?

As you know, the chrysanthemum is the Fraternity flower, and alumnae are the roots that have provided a strong foundation for more than 100 years.

We encourage alumnae to branch out and make their dedication to LKS fully bloom by actively contributing to the framework of their own personal and professional growth and for the development of new members.

Mentor a Collegiate Chapter

Thinking back to your school days, you’ll remember how much it meant to have a professional pharmacist offer you guidance, support and encouragement.

So why not consider serving as an informal mentor (or even as an official Fraternity Advisor) for the collegiate chapter in your area? (It doesn’t need to be the chapter into which you were initiated.) See if there is a collegiate chapter near you.

Assist with the Annual Convention

Have a great programming idea that you think would be perfect for the next Annual Convention? Or maybe you’d just like to lend a hand on-site? Let us know!

Serve as a Region Supervisor or on a Committee

Region Supervisors are an essential part of LKS leadership because they work directly with the collegiate chapters on management and growth and then report back to the Grand Council.

LKS also has many committees that assist the Grand Council with Fraternity operations. Are you an educator? The Continuing Education Committee could benefit from your knowledge and experience. Do you enjoy planning events? Perhaps the Convention Committee is something that would interest you. Do you believe in promoting the LKS Core Value of Scholarship? There are many other committee options for you!

Run for a Grand Council Position

If you are looking for a bigger role, consider serving on one of the six elected positions on Grand Council, the governing body of LKS. The next elections will be held in Fall 2021.

How can YOU give back to the Fraternity and make an impact on current and future members?

Contact lkshq@lks.org to express your interest in any of these possibilities or with your own ideas!
