Have all Potential New Members review the Statement on Hazing and sign the Code of Conduct after initiation. (Also, all returning members must review and sign the Code of Conduct each fall.) Hard copies must be kept in chapter files and can be found here.
Create a recruitment and orientation program based on our core values and around our Member Manual.
Elect one or two sisters to be in charge of the entire Recruitment and Orientation process.
Observe all ceremonies as outlined in our Ritual Manual, including Induction, Sunrise Ceremony and Initiation and keep all materials needed to perform these ceremonies including Ritual Manuals, Regalia, etc. (Please note that Sunrise Ceremony does not have to be performed at sunrise.)
Orientation should last about 4 to 6 weeks and Potential New Members should be initiated within 30 days of the completion of Orientation.
