Welcome to the Lambda Kappa Sigma Chrysanthemum Challenge

If you were at Convention you heard the exciting news that LKS has identified numerous new member benefits and programs. The cornerstone of these initiatives is a new Association Management System (AMS) that will allow our Fraternity to serve our members more efficiently and effectively. It will also allow us to meet our members where they are- and that means creating virtual opportunities for members to find and connect with each other and with LKS, so that they can continue to make those ever-so-important in-person connections that have been the cornerstone of Lambda Kappa Sigma while taking advantage of all the benefits of membership that enhance and elevate you personally and professionally.

The initiatives and features of the new system will allow for: 

• Efficient Chapter Operations
• Enhanced Fraternity and Chapter Engagement
• Collegiate Support-Regalia Project
• Development of an online Leadership Certificate Program
• Improved Collegiate to Alumni transition 
• Potential for online education and training
• Enhanced ability for high touch communication with alumni and collegiates
• Ability to maintain an accurate, sustainable membership database
• Forum to showcase our members achievements, research, and academic success
• Amplify virtual programming
• Ability to create online communities for different areas of interest to connect like-minded members

In lieu of increasing collegiate dues, at convention the house of delegates requested the formation of an LKS task force to focus on general fundraising, increase dues revenue and corporate sponsorship. The creation of the LKS Chrysanthemum Challenge is our capital campaign to raise the funds to move forward in 2023 with the new AMS system and enhanced membership benefits and programs. 

Since convention numerous sisters have already made donations and with the launch of the Chrysanthemum Challenge we are asking all sisters to make individual contributions to the Campaign. We need your support and commitment to ensure the success of the campaign. Every donation will make a difference in hitting our goal.  We are also asking all chapters to direct their fundraising efforts to this campaign and make chapter donations. 

The Task Force members have been working diligently to design a campaign with purpose. Each donation will be recognized with giving levels established using the ideals of the Fraternity:

• Loyalty.            $5,000 plus
• Leadership.     $2,500-$4,999
• Service.           $1,000-$2,499
• Scholarship.    $500-$999
• Integrity.          $100-$499
• Sisterhood.     $1-$99
