
Dixie Leikach
RPh, MBA, PRS, FACA
Dixie Leikach is the President and CEO of PEER – Pharmacy Ethics, Education and Resources, a non-profit she founded in July 2015. She, along with her husband, Neil, owns two pharmacies in Maryland, one community, and one long-term care.
Dixie graduated from the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy in 1992. She is a Past President of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Alumni Association, the Maryland Pharmacists Association, Lambda Kappa Sigma International Pharmacy Fraternity, the American College of Apothecaries, and her synagogue’s Sisterhood. Dixie has been honored with multiple awards but the one she is most proud of is the Bowl of Hygeia.
In her non-pharmacy life, Dixie is a Mary Kay Sales Director and volunteers for her synagogue and Zeta Tau Alpha.
Dixie and Neil are blessed with their granddaughter, Ember, their adult children, Eric and Marc, and Eric’s better half, Ke’Onna.
