• New Member Candidate: $163
  As a new member candidate, you will pay a one-time fee of $163, which covers your first year of membership dues, a membership pin, and a personalized membership certificate.
• Collegiate Members: $124
  After your first year, your annual dues will be $124.
• Local Chapter Dues: Some chapters may have additional local chapter dues that go directly towards maintaining and running their chapter and events. These amounts vary by chapter, so be sure to ask about local chapter dues to get a complete picture of your costs.

• Fraternity Operations: From maintaining our headquarters and staff to running day-to-day operations, national dues support the behind-the-scenes work that allows events, resources, and programs to function smoothly.
• Fraternity Insurance: This essential coverage protects our chapters and members, allowing LKS to operate safely and securely.
• Member Benefits: Your dues also help fund networking opportunities, continuing education programs, and leadership development. While these opportunities might be found elsewhere, only LKS offers them tied to a lifelong sisterhood, shared values, and professional and personal support.

Yes! To keep your membership active and maintain access to all the benefits of being an LKS sister, collegiate dues must be paid by November 1 each year.

Unfortunately, no. To ensure your participation is fully protected by Fraternity Insurance, you must be an active, dues-paid member of LKS. While it might seem minor, not paying dues could have serious implications for both you and your chapter. Staying current with your dues not only safeguards your involvement but also helps maintain the resources, programming, and support that keep LKS thriving.

Yes, they will. The new member fee you pay in the spring covers your membership until November 1. After that, you’ll need to pay annual dues as a returning member to remain active. Please note that we do not offer prorated dues for spring initiates, so it’s important to plan ahead to continue enjoying all the benefits of LKS!

Unfortunately, LKS does not offer payment plans for national dues. However, some local chapters may have the ability to prepay dues for members and set up payment plans directly. We recommend reaching out to your chapter leadership to explore what options are available.

First, speak with your local chapter leadership; they may be able to offer payment plans or suggest fundraising opportunities to help cover dues.
