Through our partnership with Project HOPE, we work to advance women’s health worldwide, while the Educational Trust empowers women in pharmacy to reach their highest potential. Project HOPE
For over 60 years, Project HOPE has championed global health, focusing on improving the lives of women and children through sustainable healthcare, training, and disease prevention. Since 1964, Lambda Kappa Sigma has proudly partnered with Project HOPE, organizing HOPE Galas, HOPE WaLKS, and fundraisers that mobilize our communities in support of their disaster relief efforts. Together, we’re making a difference by uplifting women and children in crises and building a world where everyone has access to essential healthcare and support.
Educational Trust
The Lambda Kappa Sigma Educational Trust supports women in pharmacy by providing scholarships, grants, and professional development to help our members achieve their dreams and lead confidently. Chapters and members rally around the Trust, especially through auctions at annual conventions featuring handmade items, LKS memorabilia, and unique experiences. In 2024, these efforts enabled the Trust to award $25,000 in grants to outstanding pharmacy students. Through the Trust, we’re investing in the next generation of women in pharmacy, empowering them to lead and shaping a brighter future for the profession.
Campaign for Progress
The Campaign for Progress fuels the growth and innovation that keep Lambda Kappa Sigma thriving. While not tax-deductible, this fund is cherished by our chapters and alumni for its direct impact on Fraternity development and member benefits. Thanks to the generous support of our alumni, this fund has brought essential initiatives to life—updated ritual regalia, rebranding efforts, recruitment videos, new chapter start-ups, and more. Together, we’re not just preserving tradition; we’re shaping the future of LKS.
