Alumni Initiate Program

The timeline for starting a Lambda Kappa Sigma chapter can vary, as it largely depends on your school’s process for establishing new student organizations. Once you obtain the necessary approval from your institution and have at least six interested students ready to join, the process typically takes about 5 to 8 weeks to fully establish your chapter and initiate new members.

We’re here to support you every step of the way, ensuring a smooth and exciting journey as you create a vibrant LKS community on your campus!

The formal requirement to start a Lambda Kappa Sigma chapter is a minimum of six members. However, we recommend aiming for 10 to 15 interested students to ensure a strong foundation and vibrant chapter from the beginning. Having a larger group of prospective members not only fosters a supportive community but also enhances the potential for diverse ideas and leadership opportunities as you grow together.

With the right support and enthusiasm, you can create an engaging and impactful chapter that uplifts and empowers women in pharmacy at your school!

When you join Lambda Kappa Sigma, you’ll pay a one-time “New Member Fee” of $150 (plus a small processing fee). This fee covers your first year of membership dues, insurance, your official membership badge, ID card, and certificate. Some chapters may also have a local chapter joining fee, which can vary.
