Our student members and collegiate chapters live out the Lambda Kappa Sigma values of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Integrity, Leadership, and Loyalty every day. Running a successful organization while in pharmacy school is no easy feat, but our sisters rise to the challenge, advancing the profession of pharmacy, supporting their communities, and building lasting bonds. Their efforts deserve recognition.
We are proud to honor the outstanding work of our student members and chapters with awards for leadership, service, academic excellence, and more.

Student & Chapter Awards
Recognizing Excellence in Our Sisters and Chapters
Whether you’ve witnessed extraordinary leadership, dedication to service, or academic excellence, we encourage you to help us highlight those achievements. LKS offers a variety of student and chapter awards: some can be self-applied, others require a nomination, and a few are automatically awarded when benchmarks are met. Learn more about how to apply or nominate a sister or chapter for recognition, and let’s celebrate the incredible work being done across Lambda Kappa Sigma!
Awarded to one member of a chapter who has exhibited outstanding service and loyalty. The Headquarters Office will create a certificate, which the chapter is encouraged to present to the recipient at a special ceremony. NOTE: There is no charge for the award certificate. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
Deadline: Spring (any time during the spring each year)
Awarded for outstanding scholarship to each graduating collegiate member in good standing who has attained a cumulative scholastic rank in the top 10% of their graduating class. Students have their chapter president and Dean of the School or College of Pharmacy complete the Ethel J. Heath Scholarship Key Certification Form and then send it to the LKS Headquarters Office, along with a headshot.
The Lambda Kappa Sigma Collegiate of the Year Award is given annually to a collegiate member who embodies our five core values of leadership, scholarship, sisterhood, service, and integrity in an exemplary manner within Lambda Kappa Sigma, the profession of pharmacy, and/or the community. Nominations will be open for any member of the organization (collegiate or alumni) to nominate a collegiate who they believe goes above and beyond to demonstrate the core values.
Deadline: April 30 (The winner is informed in June and receives complimentary registration to the National Convention where the award will be presented.)
This award is to honor an outstanding leadership team within LKS chapters. Grand Council officers, Region Supervisors, Fraternity/Faculty Advisors, or Alumni may nominate a chapter e-board for this award that has proven to be great examples of leaders, has worked together as an effective team, and has worked to help build a positive culture in their chapter. One leadership team will be selected as a winner and will be announced at Convention.
Chapter Awards (applications and nominations) are open annually from April 15th – May 15th.
This award is meant to honor a chapter that promoted the LKS core values of sisterhood within their chapter or the fraternity by holding a creative and special sisterhood event. All events must have taken place during the current school year and could have been held virtually or in person. Three finalists will be chosen and they will complete a video submission for final review by judges with a winner to be selected at the convention.
Chapter Awards (applications and nominations) are open annually from April 15th – May 15th.
This award is meant to honor a chapter that was not only creative and innovative when planning and carrying out their recruitment, but also successful. All recruitment events must have taken place during the current school year. Three finalists will be chosen and they will complete a video submission for final review by judges with a winner to be selected at the convention.
Chapter Awards (applications and nominations) are open annually from April 15th – May 15th.
This award is meant to honor a chapter that was not only creative and innovative when planning and carrying out their social media strategy, but also successful with their engagement. All social media metrics/posts must have taken place during the current school year. Three finalists will be chosen and they will complete a video submission for final review by judges with a winner to be selected at the convention.
Chapter Awards (applications and nominations) are open annually from April 15th – May 15th.
This award is meant to honor a chapter that was not only creative and innovative when planning and carrying out a professional development event, but also successful. All events must have taken place during the current school year. Three finalists will be chosen and they will complete a video submission for final review by judges with a winner to be selected at Convention.
Chapter Awards (applications and nominations) are open annually from April 15th – May 15th.
This award is to honor a chapter that promoted the LKS core value of Sisterhood within their chapter or the Fraternity by holding a creative and impactful event for their P4’s and/or alumni. All events must have taken place during the current school year and could have been held virtually or in person. Three finalists will be chosen and they will complete a video submission for final review by judges with a winner to be selected at Convention.
Chapter Awards (applications and nominations) are open annually from April 15th – May 15th.
This award is meant to honor a chapter that was not only creative and innovative when planning and carrying out a philanthropic event to benefit Project HOPE or the LKS Educational Trust, but also successful. All events must have taken place during the current school year. Three finalists will be chosen and they will complete a video submission for final review by judges with a winner to be selected at Convention.
Chapter Awards (applications and nominations) are open annually from April 15th – May 15th.
This award is meant to honor a chapter that was not only creative and innovative when planning and carrying out a service event focused on the biennium’s Women’s Health Initiative, but also successful. All events must have taken place during the current school year. Three finalists will be chosen and they will complete a video submission for final review by judges with a winner to be selected at Convention.
Chapter Awards (applications and nominations) are open annually from April 15th – May 15th.
Presented annually at Convention, these awards honor collegiate chapters that demonstrate outstanding growth. Chapters achieving at least 10% improvement in member retention and/or recruitment from the previous year will be recognized for their dedication to building a thriving, supportive sisterhood.

Presented annually at the LKS Convention, the Top Chapter of the Level Awards honor collegiate chapters for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the LKS community. Recognizing chapters across various size categories—Top Diamond (XXL), Top Platinum (XL), Top Gold (L), Top Silver (M), and Top Sapphire (S)—these awards celebrate the dedication and leadership of our sisters. Each winning chapter exemplifies a strong commitment to Lambda Kappa Sigma’s values through their impactful programming, engagement, and collaboration within their communities. The Top Chapter of the Level Awards not only recognize excellence but also inspire all chapters to strive for greater heights in their journey together.

The Chapter of the Year Award is the pinnacle of recognition presented annually at the LKS Convention, celebrating the single collegiate chapter that exemplifies the highest standards of excellence across all sizes and levels. This prestigious award honors a chapter that has demonstrated remarkable commitment to Lambda Kappa Sigma’s values, showcasing outstanding programming, innovative leadership, and unwavering dedication to sisterhood and community engagement. As the top-scoring chapter, the recipient serves as an inspiration to all LKS sisters, highlighting the profound impact that a united group can achieve when they work together towards shared goals. This award is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and spirit of collaboration that define our sisterhood.

The Efficiency Cup is awarded annually to the collegiate chapter that exemplifies exceptional organizational skills and timely execution of tasks throughout the year. By maintaining a strong focus on planning and execution, the winning chapter not only demonstrates efficiency but also sets a standard for accountability and dedication within the Lambda Kappa Sigma community. The Efficiency Cup celebrates the power of teamwork and discipline, reminding us all that effective management is key to fostering a thriving sisterhood.
