As the only pharmacy fraternity dedicated to elevating women in pharmacy, we are committed to addressing women’s health disparities. We prioritize issues that impact women, raising awareness and educating our members to close the gap in healthcare challenges.
Every biennium, we focus on a relevant topic to guide our education, research, and initiatives. Our current emphasis is on Mental Health, exploring its critical importance and the disproportionate impact on women. We empower our members to participate in projects, advocate for change, and support mental health initiatives, collectively making a significant difference in women’s health.
Project HOPE: Making a Global Impact
Since 1967, Lambda Kappa Sigma has proudly supported Project HOPE, our official philanthropy focused on global health and humanitarian relief. This organization provides medical assistance and health education to regions impacted by disasters and health crises.
Chapters nationwide engage in fundraising activities, from bake sales to community events, raising essential funds to support Project HOPE’s mission. These efforts help deliver crucial medical supplies, support healthcare workers, and improve health outcomes in vulnerable communities around the world.
