The Top Leadership Team Award honors a chapter whose executive board has exemplified outstanding leadership, teamwork, and commitment to fostering a positive chapter culture. At the 2025 Annual Convention in Pittsburgh, this recognition was proudly awarded to the Omicron Chapter at Wayne State University for their remarkable accomplishments and dedication throughout the 2024–2025 year.

Omicron Chapter’s 2024–2025 Executive Board showed what true leadership looks like. Under their president’s empowering vision, the board created an ambitious strategic plan that elevated every aspect of chapter operations. Their efforts resulted in a significant increase in new member recruitment, record-breaking Hope WaLKS fundraising, and a chapter-wide mental wellness initiative that reached nearly every committee.

The board’s collaboration extended across all areas of chapter life. The professionalism committee secured new partnerships for mental health training and certifications, while the sisterhood and social chairs launched unforgettable events such as the first-ever Soirée and Dr. Pharmacy Pageant. Beyond their programming, the leadership team also showed remarkable compassion during difficult times — rallying to support members impacted by global conflict and caring for one another following the unexpected loss of a new P3 member.

Through creativity, dedication, and strength, Omicron’s leaders set a new standard for what LKS leadership can achieve. Their motivation and courage to embrace change truly distinguished them among their peers. We are proud to recognize Omicron Chapter as the 2025 Top Leadership Team.
