The Top Social Media Strategy Award honors a chapter that has successfully designed and implemented a creative and effective social media presence while engaging members and the wider community. At the 2025 LKS Convention in Pittsburgh, this award was presented to the Eta Chapter at Saint Joseph’s University for their innovative and impactful approach.
Eta Chapter has embraced what they proudly call a “corporate baddie” vibe — a balance of professionalism, authenticity, and fun that has energized their online presence. Through this approach, they’ve effectively supported recruitment, sisterhood, fundraising, and the core values of Lambda Kappa Sigma.
In just six months since restarting their chapter, Eta Chapter has recruited 20 new members using story posts and personalized outreach through an interest form, raised $700 through bingo board fundraisers, and consistently celebrated sisterhood, leadership, and member achievements with engaging posts. Their Instagram following has already grown to nearly half the size of many of LKS’s most established chapters, a remarkable accomplishment in such a short time.
Beyond the numbers, what makes Eta Chapter’s strategy stand out is the community it fosters. Their content reflects genuine connection and empowerment, creating a space where sisters feel supported, celebrated, and inspired. We are proud to recognize Eta Chapter as the 2025 recipient of the Top Social Media Strategy Award.
